Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Commercial Division under the Retail Banking Department at Head Office.
Responsibilities
- Primarily accountable for executing balance sheet performance on assets (specifically Mortgage and Auto leasing) providing key enablers to the frontlines success in driving individual asset product sales
- Owns overall Profit & Loss (P&L) for all retail asset products and drives initiatives required to achieve asset product marketing and sales strategy
- To develop and execute the asset product sales strategy for Mortgages and Auto Leasing
- To enable asset product sales through Mortgages and Auto Leasing proposition
- To drive the marketing strategy complimenting all mortgage and auto leasing ales
- To nurture 3rd party partnerships that drive our asset product dominance
- To implement initiatives to stem balance sheet leakages, anti-attrition unit
- To drive product utilization across all client segments
- To actively manage retail balance sheet to ensure optimization of returns
- To deliver on retail products performance standards covering assets
- To ensure delivery of optimal product mix and risk weighted returns
- To expand market share through product sales volumes
- To liaise with stakeholders to ensure Asset Sales (Mortgage and Auto Leasing ) proposition fulfills customer service expectations
- To ensure adherence to customer complaints resolution and escalation
- To use voice of frontline to address pain points
- To conduct training for customer facing staff product knowledge, sales, complaints handling, process, operations, controls
- To share knowledge and experience and best practice with team members in order to ensure that team performance complies with set service standards
Qualifications
- Five Credits Grade 12 Certificate including Mathematics and English
- University Degree in relevant subject
- Diploma in Banking or Finance will be an added advantage
- At least three years banking management experience
- Understanding of Retail Banking products and account opening, KYC Requirements
- Understanding of relevant legislation KYC, Anti – Money laundering, Banking code
- Understanding of people policies and processes
