Mission
As a Business Line Manager your mission will be to develop and implement the RDT market strategy to ensure that the company meets its business goals in terms of sales volume, market share and consolidated profitability for Atlas Copco Zambia Limited.
Job Description
– To profitably grow the RDT consumables, equipment, spare parts and service business, ensuring that Atlas Copco is ‘First in Mind – First in Choice’ for our customers in Zambia.– Create demand for Atlas Copco Rock Drilling Tools by understanding our customers’ application needs, and offering solutions that fulfil and exceed their expectations, enabling them to meet their productivity requirements in a pro-active, timely and cost efficient manner.– Ensure that Atlas Copco maintains the market leadership position in terms of market share, sales and delivery of customer value. Also support our RDT customers’ operations continuity and competitiveness, by assuring that we stock the correct tools, consumables and parts.– ‘Protect the Core’ of our RDT business in Zambia safeguarding existing business with key accounts and spearhead attack in the New Copperbelt– Grow by acquiring and successfully acquiring new key accounts.– Understand the RDT equipment, consumables and parts supply chain, and work closely with Logistics Department to ensure that we ship our RDT products in an efficient, timely way.– Implement a pricing structure that generates a balance of profit, growth and delivery of value to the customer, – Develop the RDT organisation needed to cover the Zambia in coordination with Country Manager and other BLMs– Manage our communications with the RDT Division, providing the required support and reporting in terms of BRM, CRM input and other required media.– Liaise with other Divisional BLMs to promote total AC packages.– Support human resource functions in Zambia with respect to RDT and safeguard that everyone in RDT respects and lives up to the core values of Atlas Copco.
Experience requirements
5+ years management experience in a similar role.-
A proven track record of increasing revenues and market share
A good working knowledge of M/S Office and Outlook
Fluent in English
Knowledge
Solid technical knowledge of Rock Drilling products and their applications.
Educational requirements
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent through experience
Personality requirements
Team player.
Ability to achieve set targets/goals.
Business negotiation and added value skills.
Self Motivator with a high level of responsibility and loyalty.
Good Communication skills and customer focused and be presentable on all levels.
