The Care Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Ltd came into being in 1995 under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. It started off as a small Cooperative through contributions from employees from Care International with an initial membership of 50 and has now grown to over 1, 400 members drawn from various Non governmental organizations such as Aids Alliance, HCP, Care International, Swedish Cooperative, World Vision, CCF, Plan Zambia, and Habitat for Humanity, Pulse, CRS, Africare and General members who are former employees of the named organizations. The Cooperatives main objective is to encourage Savings from its members and advance them with loans for development and any emergencies. Its vision is to provide affordable and flexible Finance to enhance member’s standard of living, in particular those in Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs). Care Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Ltd wishes to outsource IT services for its Offices.
Job Title: IT Service Provider
Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of all Care Cooperative Applications and Systems comprising (but not limited to) the following works
- Underlying environment, pre-requisite software
- Navision 2016, Loan Performer, browser configurations
- Maintenance and servicing of hardware
- Monitoring and managing bandwidth consumption and connectivity
- Preventive Maintenance on monthly/weekly basis
- End user support
- Server Maintenance and Backup of all server systems and critical files on site and off site
- Carry out Data Recovery Simulations
- Network equipment setup, maintenance and support including Cisco Routers, and other EDGE devices
- Monitoring and Patching deployment for Windows and Office applications
- Network resources monitoring and access testing
- Monitoring of switches and cable layout
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Studies or equivalent with 2 years working experience or Diploma in computer studies with three years previous working experience in similar capacity
- Knowledgeable with Network Security Implementation and Web Filtering
- Microsoft Certified or A+ Certified preferred or ITiL
- Proven ability and experience in setting up LANs, Routers and Wireless Communication Technology
- Any Previous experience of supporting LANs, SQL Server, exchange email and account set-up / administration
- Experience of Microsoft Server 2012 R2 administration, WSUS and Active Directory
- Experience with Kaspersky or other Enterprise antivirus deployments
- Experience in managing Sharepoint, FTP and implementing file sharing Folders, Printers and permission assignments
