The bank provides financial services to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs and their families in Zambia. Among AB Bank’s shareholders are the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) as well as the German and the Dutch Development Banks. AB Bank has been operating in Zambia since 2011 and has since grown steadily with prospects of further expansion within and out of Lusaka in 2015.

In order to support our rapidly expanding branch network within Lusaka and beyond we seek to recruit the services of individuals to fill the position below:

CASHIERS (CAS/08/15)

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to perform all customer counter transactions
  • Responsible for the cash till until it is locked in the vault by a supervisor
  • Providing customer service and market the bank’s products

Requirements for all positions

  • Grade 12 Certificate. Tertiary certificate or Diploma in any field an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics is essential
  • Good computer literacy
  • Fluency in English and a local language
  • High Level of Integrity
  • Ability to work Independently
  • No previous professional experience required

Note: For future Client Advisors and Cashiers vacancies, DP Agents will get priority before external candidates are considered.
