Deputy Project Director Job: Dapp Zambia


Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is a local registered NGO engaged in development projects in the fields of education, health, agriculture and other poverty alleviation programmes. Projects are carried out in all the provinces of Zambia. 

DAPP now seeks candidates to fill the position below:

Deputy Project Director for OVC project in Central Province

Description of the job:  Work with the project team to execute the implementation of OVC activities in Central province with focus on health, livelihood and education.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all programming including ensuring technical quality of services.
  • Work with sub-partners to decide on targets, oversee the development and execution of community action plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of work-plans.
  • Facilitate capacity building of staff and volunteers.
  • Coordination with government line ministries and other key partners.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences or related degree.
  • 5 years experiences in managing HIV care and support projects.
  • 3 years supervision experiences.
  • Experience in planning, designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of bigger projects.
  • Demonstrated strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with USAID supported projects is an added advantage.
