Educational Content Editor: iSchool Zambia Ltd

iSchool Africa is hiring an Educational Content Editor on a full-time basis to update our ground-breaking tablet based e-learning solution, the only one of its kind in Zambia. As an editor, you will be at the Forefront of our effort to impact several million learners across Zambia, where we have already reached an estimated 200,000 children. Our product compromises several thousand lessons covering all subjects and grades in primary school.

Responsibilities

• The editor’s Job will be to amend our existing lesson plans to address quality issues and align material with the Zambian primary school curriculum

Qualifications

• A knack for writing and a keen eye for editing are essential attributes
• This role also requires someone who can work efficiently and with little supervision
• Candidates must have 5+ years ‘ experience writing and/or editing educational materials coupled with at least 3 years’ experience as a primary school teacher
• Familiarity with the Zambia Curriculum is highly preferred
• You may work from iSchools office in Lusaka or from home, but you will need a reliable internet connection
