Job Title: Health Informatics Branch Chief
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Health informatics, Information systems, Health IT management, Computer science or Computer/software engineering
  • Five years of experience in designing, developing, implementing and/or maintaining health information systems to support health-related program activities
  • Two (2) additional years of experience at the managerial level with multiple staff, with demonstrated ability to successfully lead technical teams in completing ICT projects from conception to delivery of product
  • Level IV (fluent) English (This will be tested.)
  • Ability to analyze, understand and discuss new health information systems program design, management and implementation approaches
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation oral and written communications skills
  • Extensive knowledge of health delivery information systems, electronic health record systems, health information technology and applications
  • Detailed knowledge of HIV/AIDS, STD or TB prevention activities and the host government health care system and structures including familiarity with Ministry of Health policies, program priorities and regulations
