ACDI/VOCA is seeking to recruit the position of Information Management System/M&E Assistant to be based in the Chipata office.

Job Title: Information Management System/M&E

Department/Unit: Technical Unit

Location: Chipata, with travel throughout Eastern Province and Lusaka

Duration: 2 months

Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Summary:

The Information Management system/ M&E Assistant will provide support to the Monitoring and Evaluation Interns and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in the management of database.

The officer will focus on five Key result area namely:

  • Data cleaning and processing
  • Complete elimination of data backlog to obtain real-time analytical capacity
  • SharePoint system customization and enhancement
  • Build remaining outcome indicator data trackers in the MIS SharePoint database:
  • Increase demand for data use among management and technical staff

Qualification

  • Diploma in Information management systems, a Computing degree will be an added advantage
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint, & MS Access. Knowledge and use of MSQL and visual basic languages is desirable.
  • Experience working with NGOs, private sector, specifically on Access databases/SharePoint
  • Pleasant personality with good teamwork and interpersonal skills with an ability to take initiative and work in teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of project information
  • Strong analytical skills is essential
  • Knowledge of at least one analysis software is desirable i.e. SPSS, STATA, EPI-Info.
