Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential new customers, close in and negotiate on new accounts, ensuring that existing clients renew their contracts with Ipsos services, identifying and translating clients desires into functional needs for the future development and evaluating them against known needs and opportunities
  • Organizing services to respond to clients, monitor clients feedback, interpret and applying company policies and industry practices and ensuring follow-up, regularly review customer satisfaction levels including the use of customer satisfaction surveys
  • Ensure that all parties in media monitoring are working in cognizance with set actions, standards and timeliness, providing leadership in media monitoring division, motivating and building the morale of groups to optimize performance
  • Ensure that there is adequate management of debts and collections are within stipulated credit days, determine bad debts portfolio and provide proposal on how to handle bad debts
  • Enable Ipsos Zambia to maintain the cutting edge in terms of personnel, knowledge and insights. This involves an influence on the strategic direction and operating plan of the business through reporting on emerging opportunities and threats, and providing a consistent and integrated view of clients through the interpretation of market and customer data
  • Developing & strengthening relationships with current and potential clients
  • Ensuring the team’s focus is in alignment with Ipsos Global & Ipsos Pan Africa strategic focus
  • People management in the Media team in terms of recruiting, training, retention and promotion, allocating and monitoring work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Six years’ experience in Media or Advertising Industries with at least 3 years in a Management role
  • Strong Communicator and team player
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate media research insights to all levels of the business in a practical, user friendly and meaningful way
  • Ability to turn data into actionable intelligence or insights
  • Exceptional Client Relationship Management skills
  • Sound knowledge of interpreting & analyzing information
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to work and deliver under pressure
  • Good report writing skills
  • Strong management and supervisory skills
  • Interpersonal and good organizational skills
  • Time, costing and project management skills
  • Self-driven, results oriented, shows exceptional initiative and is focused on quality and profit
