Midwives Needed at MaryBegg Community Clinic


Mary Begg Community Clinic is a non-profit organisation which provides quality health care for the Zambian community. Currently, we operate four clinics in the Copperbelt and NW provinces.
We also partner with the public health sector and the private sector to provide national health programmes and a lasting health care legacy in Zambia.

JOB TITLE: REGISTERED MIDWIVES

DUTIES:

  • Examining and monitoring pregnant women
  • Caring for and assisting women in labour
  • Undertaking antenatal care in the clinic
  • Carrying out screening tests and ensure results are actioned and recorded
  • Providing information, emotional support and reassurance to women and their partners
  • Taking patients samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures
  • Monitoring and administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions
  • Report writing

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Relevant qualifications and registrations
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience is key
  • Excellent team working skills
  • Strong customer service skills
