Job Title: National Direct Sales & Acquisition Manager

Reports to Chief Sales & Distribution Officer

Responsibilities

  • Design & execute customer acquisition strategies aimed at achieving company objectives.
  • Develop strategy to grow electronic airtime sales and distribution including electronic channel partners
  • Liaise with stakeholders in driving acquisition strategy & growth of customer numbers on voice, data and mobile money
  • Review strategy around KYC regulation and implement plans to ensure compliance
  • Develop & execute trade merchandising and visibility plan
  • Develop, implement and monitor strategy for MPOS device distribution
  • Develops business cases on all CAPEX related spend for the trade
  • Effectively manage the development of direct reports
  • Stay abreast of developments in areas of expertise

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing/Sales/Business
  • 5 years work experience in sales, preferably in a FMCG environment
  • In-depth understanding of the telecoms business industry
  • Excellent experience in financial, project & channel management
  • Exposure to management in multiple geographical locations
