Bio-Life Energy Zambia is seeking to appoint a Human Resource Officer to be stationed in Lusaka.The HR Officer will provide support to HR operations/ employees of Bio-Life Energy Zambia.
Job Title: Human Resource Officer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and updated personal files (hard/soft copies) and in close collaboration with Finance/Admin Manager.
- Coordinate immigration activities for expatriate staff – i.e. processing of employment/study permits and other related documents.
- Coordinate recruitment & placement – (i.e. reference checks, interviews, coordinating related payments, employment agreements & offer letters).
- Review and update all human resources policies to meet the organization’s needs and plan and facilitating HR activities in the team: contract, recruitment, and employee relation.
- Coordinate and maintain relations with government, labour partners and another related personnel stakeholder, record employee time sheets and leave requests.
- Staff Welfare/Benefits administration – (processing death grants/benefits, education & allowances, claims and manage the HR database – staff list.
- Maintain a computerized and manual tracking sheet for all employees.
- Other related assignments.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or University degree in administration, human resource management or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 3 year experience working and skillful in interpersonal, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Very good computer skills on the internet, MS office.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Zambian labour laws…
- Proficiency in computer packages (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal English).
- A member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
