Varun Food and Beverages (CREAMBEL) Zambia, a leading Food and Beverage manufacturing company situated at plot 37426, Mungwi Road, Heavy Industrial Area, Lusaka are urgently looking to recruit a suitably qualified individual to fill the position of ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT 2 POSITIONS.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general financial and accounting support to the accounts department
  • Enter and code financial transactions appropriately
  • Process payments as well as documents like invoices
  • Reconcile invoices received with departmental billings
  • Make and track payments
  • Make bank deposits and keep up records
  • Validate invoices against items or services received
  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy
  • Key data into company accounting system
  • Disburse funds as needed
  • Perform any other duties relevant to the position

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Accounting or related field from a recognized Institution
  • Must possess 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Possess excellent Data entry skills and Documentation skills.
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should be computer literate (esp in Excel and Ms word).
  • Excellent written and Verbal communication skills/ strong inter-cultural and inter-personal communication skills.
  • Must be reliable and highly organized
  • Honest and trustworthy.
  • Demonstrate sound work ethics.
