Project Assistant job in Zambia


JICA BHC for UHC project (Project for Strengthening Basic Health Care Services Management for Universal Health Coverage) now recruits qualified and experienced staff for the following positions.

Project Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Assisting other project staff in accounting, typing/drafting documents, procuring goods/services, letter preparation and photocopying
  • Data collection (Field survey, data input, editing)
  • Making logistical arrangement for staff and mission members such as making appointments, hotel bookings, rental car arrangement etc.
  • Filing, recording and maintaining related office documents
  • Keeping the office space clean
  • Assisting reception work
  • Accompanying other project staff on field trips

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Secretarial or at least 4 years’ work experience in office supportive function in an international donor agency, donor funded project or Zambian government
  • Good computer skills including a solid command of MS word, Excel, and e-mail / internet
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ready to work in a multicultural environment
