Proposal Development /Fundraising Officer: DAPP Zambia


Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is a local registered NGO engaged in development projects in the fields of education, health, agriculture and other poverty alleviation programmes. Projects are carried out in all the provinces of Zambia. 

DAPP now seeks candidates to fill the position below:

Proposal Development /Fundraising Officer:

Description of the job: To raise funds for the projects run presently by DAPP and to raise funds for expansion according to the DAPP vision for development. The position is Lusaka based.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify funding opportunities through interacting with potential partners as well as via internet.
  • Develop and write winning proposals to governmental, local and international partners.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in proposal development and fundraising.
  • At least a diploma in Social Sciences, Development Studies or other relevant qualification.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
