Zambia Bursaries Committee
The first point of call for most students in Zambia will be the Zambia Bursaries Committee. In Zambia, the majority of bursary applications are managed by the Ministry of Education’s Bursaries Committee. Applications are usually invited from suitably qualified Zambians to contest for these scholarships by way of adverts in the media around February/March and September each year.
United States
You can discover a variety of U.S. government-sponsored educational and professional exchange programs via the US Embassy in Zambia. Exceptional Zambian graduate or post graduate students are however encouraged to apply for the Fulbright Fellowship Program, which is directly funded by the United States Government. Those that are interested in studying in the USA should check the financial aid available from individual colleges and universities.
United Kingdom

Sweden
If you are interested in studying in Sweden you can find out more at www.studyinsweden.se. The website states that the Swedish Institute provides over 500 scholarships each year. In addition, it states that some universities may offer scholarships directly to high-performing students.
China

Rhodes Scholarship
The Rhodes Scholarships are postgraduate awards supporting outstanding all-round students at the University of Oxford, UK. The Beit Trust Scholarship
The Beit Trust offers a small number of Scholarships abroad for postgraduate studies or research to graduates who are domiciled in Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe. Scholarships are taken up at a university in the United Kingdom, Ireland or South Africa, for study in a subject of the individual’s choice appropriate to the needs of the beneficial area. Chevening Scholarship
