Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Commercial Division under the Product & Channel Department at Head Office:-

Job Title: Mobile & Internet Banking Specialist – 1

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, modifying, implementing and monitoring the Bank’s , mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel and strategy to ensure effective and efficient service delivery and profitability of the Bank
  • Provide day to day support for the implementation of the Bank’s mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel strategy
  • Implementation of channel design and development of the mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel
  • Monitor mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channels performance and measure profitability through the different channel life cycle stages, budgets and other performance metrics
  • Support the implementation of campaigns and activities run by marketing on mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channels to drive channel utilization and profitability
  • Support cross sell strategies on mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channels
  • Implement standard tools for channel development and campaign management
  • Give input for the development and implementation of procedures and processes for mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel management
  • Day to day management of mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channels
  • Implement activation and usage programs
  • Provide input for the preparation of training materials for the network (in liaison with Head Channel Management)
  • Provide research and analytics support for customer needs realization (cooperation with marketing in case of market research)
  • Identify and manage risks associated with the Bank’s mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channels, implementing approved modification to mitigate the risks
  • Work with marketing to design channel branding standards
  • Work with customer service to develop channel service quality standards
  • Recommend and implement mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel performance improvement plans
  • Generate necessary mobile, internet banking and e-commerce channel performance reports
  • Define the targets and responsibilities of direct reports and manage and implement the performance contracts of all direct reports
  • External, Regulators, Service providers

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects
  • University Degree in relevant field
  • Three years working experience in a related field
  • One-two years banking experience is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of Banking practices and operations, the external environment and regulatory environment
  • In-depth knowledge of bank products and channels and product market demands, local markets, customers and competitors
  • Experience in and ability to implement strategies for meeting the Banks objectives pertaining to delivery channel
  • Knowledge of proprietary and non-proprietary (VISA) card processing including pricing and regulation
  • Detailed knowledge of e-commerce developments and market trends
  • Experience in mobile, internet banking and e-commerce support and/or operations
