Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably
qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the
Bank’s strategic vision, in the Operations Division under the Premises & Facilities Department
at Head Office.
Job Title: New Developments Analyst – 1
Responsibilities
- To facilitate the successful implementation of all new development projects by
- Overseeing feasibility assessments, project planning and implementation management
- Supporting or facilitating identification of key new development initiatives/ or projects for the various departments in line with operational requirements and strategic focus of the Bank
- Facilitating the planning process for all new development projects to ensure that
key objectives, activities, resource requirements and timelines are agreed and clearly stipulated by departments - Monitoring and tracking progress on the various new development projects in the department by engaging contractors and holding them accountable for achievement of key milestones
- Identifying and proposing actions to remove identified bottlenecks to successful
project implementation - Conducting feasibility surveys for new developments at prospective sites and
- Ensuring that all new site acquisition is effectively managed in line with all legal
requirements - Prepare and submit detailed progress reports for all relevant management
committee meetings to the Head of Department within stipulated timelines - Prepare all relevant submissions to key authorities and ensure approvals are obtained to facilitate new development construction Liaise with and manage all stakeholder relationships with authorities, contractors, land owners so as to ensure smooth project implementation
- Oversee all new project development work in liaison with the New Projects
- Coordinator and contractors
- To manage and monitor performance of staff to ensure achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
- To motivate, coach and train staff in the department are adequately equipped to carry out duties and meet set targets and objectives
- All other tasks and functions as
- assigned by management
- Building Department, Environmental Council, Ministry of Lands, Local Councils

Qualifications
- Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other
three subjects - University Degree in Building Sciences or other relevant subject
- Three years working experience in construction, building maintenance or a related field
- Certificate in project management is an ad
