Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Risk Division under the Special Assets Management Department at Head Office.

Job Title: Retail Recoveries Coordinator – 2

Responsibilities

• To liaise with legal department and supervise where appropriate
• To exercise considerable tact and judgment in dealing with debtors especially where the debtor can be aggrieved by the application of legislation and enforcement procedures
• To negotiate terms of settlement with customers providing suitable advice and making appropriate arrangements according to individual circumstances and in accordance with management guidelines
• To liaise with outside debt coordinators/collectors and bailiffs in all matters pertaining to recoveries and enforcing repossession orders granted by the courts
• To examine and analyze overdue accounts and determine appropriate action
• To monitor all judgment cases to ensure that payments are made as ordered
• To determine the most appropriate course of enforcing action where judgement has not been paid as ordered having regard to the legislation and the Bank’s policies
• Recommend debts for write-off where an account is deemed unrecoverable
• Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects
• Diploma in Business or other relevant subject
• Three years working experience in credit/relationship management or related field
• One-two  years experience in banking credit/relationship management is an added advantage
  ACCA, CIMA or ZICA is an added advantage
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Credit analysis skills
