ZAMNET Communications Systems Ltd, Zambia’s first Internet Service provider invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following vacant position to be position.

Position: Head-Networks

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a degree in ICT or a related field
  • A thorough knowledge of networking and communication technologies
  • Practical skills of troubleshooting IP Networks using various tools
  • A thorough understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing: including subnetting and routing
  • Ability to install and administer Microsoft applications including Active Server Directory, Exchange Server (and other email solutions)
  • Good working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX/Windows, servers, ICT, Security configurations and administrations, etc
  • Ability to configure and administer CISCO Routers, firewall, switches and other network devices
  • Experience with Emerald Billing and Mail Site is an added advantage
  • Must be in possession of a clean driver’s license
