Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Commercial Division under the Retail Banking Department at Head Office:

AGENT BANKING REGIONAL SALES SPECIALIST (X2)

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for setting up and accelerating the growth of an active Agency banking network in the assigned region. Accountable for all related financial and service KPI’s.

Under the supervision of the Head Alternate Banking, the following are among the Job Key Responsibilities:-

Define and execute Agent onboarding strategy
Define and execute Agent activation strategy at onboarding
Responsible for regional revenue performance of the Agent Banking sales channel.
Identify and increase opportunities to increase Agent Banking sales penetration
Conduct quarterly market sizing and provide initiatives to stay ahead of market
Drive visibility of all Agent outlets
Drive Agent reward program in the region
Ensure Agents receive all relevant training
Manage end to end Agent communication
Provide weekly and monthly management dashboards for Agent Banking sales business
Ensure training, implementation and support advice.
All other tasks or responsibilities as maybe assigned by management.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACT

External: Clients, Local regulators on statutory matters
Internal: All Divisions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 Credit or above mandatory in Mathematics and English and any other three subjects.
Degree in relevant field
At least two to three (2-3) years experience with two (2) years in sales, preferably in agency networks environment
Understanding of agency banking models and regulatory requirements
Understanding of relevant legislation e.g. KYC, anti – money laundering, banking code.
Demonstrated complaint handling and skills certifications
