A reputable Commercial Bank in Zambia is seeking to recruit self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative persons to fill the following position(s):

BRANCH MANAGER

Reporting to Country Operating Officer, she/he will:

• Ensure effective/efficient implementation of bank-wide policies with respect to branch operations
• Supervise the administration of the vault through effective treasury management
• Ensure proper documentation of all transactions and authorize transactions within approval limits
• Supervise activities of operations staff to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to customers
• Ensure that the unit has an adequate allocation of resources to enable it to meet stated objectives
• Manage daily cash levels in the vault and ensure branch cash requirements are met.
• Monitor inter-branch cash movements/requirements
• Ensure adherence to all control procedures relating to cash movements.
• Perform other functions as assigned by the Country Operating Officer.

Qualification and Skills:

• First degree in any Business related discipline. Masters in Business Administration or Banking & Finance and professional qualification will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a bank/ financial institution. Experience in banking operations will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge and understanding of banking operations (domestic and international)
• Excellent customer service capabilities
• Good Oral & Written communication
• Excellent administrative skills
• Good documentation and process management skills.
