Accountant Job at Palmridge Properties


Palmridge Properties is looking for an Accountant to provide support to our finance and Administration department by managing our accounting needs.

Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable.
  • Update accounts payable.
  • perform reconciliations
  • processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
  • Handle payroll & payroll records.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly management reports
  • Prepare all statutory returns i.e. NAPSA
  • Assist with other accounting functions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in accounting and preparation of financial reports.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of computing of all taxes and submission.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, ACCA ll /ZICA ll
  • A member of ZICA
