The accountant will be responsible for updating and maintaining all accounting books and the entire accounting system using Pastel accounting software.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Carry out processing of transactions in Pastel accounting software.
  2. Undertake bank reconciliations.
  3. Review and update debtors and creditors records.
  4. Review and update Inventory records.
  5. Prepare regular financial statements and reports.
  6. Update receipting procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum BSc. Accounting from a recognized institution or advanced qualifications in ZICA/ACCA/CIMA.
  2. Not less than five (5) years experience in corporate accounting.
  3. Must be a member of the Zambian Institutes of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
