Job Description :

  • Manage the day to day running of the following Lodge departments: Front Desk and Administration
  • Provide oversight of the following department: Storeroom
  • Ensure the Lodge can reach its targets e.g. sales, room occupancy, product development deadlines, system development deadlines
  • Supervise Front Desk Receptionists
  • Build on the Aabiya Lodge Brand
  • Skills development program monitoring and implementation for Front desk Staff Members
  • Manage Bookings
  • Document and File Management
  • Online Channel management (Booking.com, facebook, etc.)

Skills :

  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Bemba, Nyanja, and English
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PDF
  • Online Booking Channel Management (booking.com)
  • Customer Service
  • Front desk check-in procedures
  • Able to understand client billing statement
  • Basic accounting e.g debtors, creditors, budgets, income statement knowledge etc.
  • Filing and organizing documents (Must be a very organized person)

Qualifications :

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Accounts or Admin related course

Age :

  • 22 to 29 years old

Experience :

  • At least 2 years in employment (part of the experience should be a minimum of 6 months in service industry job or a minimum of 6 months in admin or accounts related job)
