K&C Cash Converters Ltd is a specialist financial solutions company targeting both the formal and informal employed markets with the primary offering of financial solutions to the under-banked. Our company focuses on providing a wide combination of financial services and products in Lusaka and surrounding towns. These services are offered to our customers, who are referred to us by the general public, other clients, and through advertising. Because we are growing, we are looking for suitable candidates to work as an Administrative Assistant in our administration department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain contact lists, produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system and order office supplies.
- Greet, assist, and provide general support to visitors in the office.
- Provide information by answering questions and requests.
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling/requesting for repairs; and maintaining equipment inventories.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Carry out administrative and coordinate office procedures.
- Cover the reception desk when required.
- Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Take accurate minutes of meetings and resolve administrative problems.
- Receive, sort and distribute the mail.
- Answer telephone calls and manage staff appointments.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or any other related field.
- Familiarity with office software.
- Previous related experience in a particular industry is an added advantage.
