Administrative Assistant Job in Lusaka: BlueCode Systems LTD


BlueCode Systems is a local Zambian software services organization that is focused on designing and building locally sustainable software applications with a bias towards the health sector.

We are hiring for the position of Admin Assistant.

Roles/Responsibilities

  1. Ensuring that all office needs/bills are settled on time and office business proceeds optimally.
  2. Update and maintain office policies and proceduresMaintaining equipment inventory and ensuring that all equipment is accounted for and kept in good working order; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  3. Supervising office janitorial staff to ensure a safe and hygiene working environment.
  4. Efficiently organizing logistics for team members travelling or in any need of logistics support.
  5. Provide general support to visitors
  6. Other administrative tasks arising.

Soft skills

  • Strong people skills – informally we can say we are looking for a bubbly and friendly person with a go-getter attitude.
  • Efficienttimekeeperr – your chief task being the organized and efficient operation of the office requires you to be the lead time keeper.
  • Well-developed grammar and writing skills.

Qualifications

  1. Diploma in business administration or related field.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  3. Reporting and Administrative Writing Skills
