ADT Projekt GmbH is an innovative and reliable German consulting firm that focuses on planning and implementing international projects in the areas of livestock, agriculture and rural development. Since 1995 we have been working for governments, development agencies, public institutions as well as for enterprises and organisations of the agriculture and food industry in more than 50 countries. Having a profound background in animal husbandry and dairy production, we are planning to apply for the project Technical cooperation with Zambia, Green Innovation Centres – Dairy Value Chain in Zambia. The global project Green Innovation Centres for the Agriculture and Food sector is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The Green Innovation Centre in Zambia (GIC) is one out of 14 country packages at global level. With the agreement of the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries (MoLF), the project focuses on three value chains in two regions: Soya and groundnuts in Eastern Province and dairy in Southern Province. The overall objective of the GIC’s activities along the dairy value chain in Zambia is to improve the income of smallholder dairy farmers in the Southern Province, increase the employment rate and to improve the local availability of dairy products. Technical cooperation with Zambia, Green Innovation Centres – Dairy Value Chain. For the above mentioned project, we are searching for several.

Qualifications

  • The essential qualifications for the pool of national short-term experts are:
  • University degree in their area of expertise
  • At least 5 years of work experience in their area of expertise
  • Regional experience: Zambia
  • Language skills: Fluent command (written and spoken) of English
