About the Job

The Consultant is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Setup of VAT and Income Tax returns
  • Setup of Payroll
  • Setup Accounting Procedures
  • Setup ofAccounting Software Quickbooks

and to provide guidance to all staff on all transactional financial matters This role reports to the Operations Director.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 school certificate
  •  Qualified chartered accountant in a recognised global body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  •  Full member of the ZAMBIA Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
  •  Minimum 5 years’ experience with a history of responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination
  •  Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills
  •  Post-graduate qualification in any related business field would be an added advantage
  •  Strong communications, influencing and engagement skills
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of varied backgrounds
  •  Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple and time-sensitive deadlines
  •  Demonstrated ability to utilise new software applications effectively
  •  Proficient in setup of Quickbooks
