About the Job
The Consultant is primarily responsible for the following:
- Setup of VAT and Income Tax returns
- Setup of Payroll
- Setup Accounting Procedures
- Setup ofAccounting Software Quickbooks
and to provide guidance to all staff on all transactional financial matters This role reports to the Operations Director.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 school certificate
- Qualified chartered accountant in a recognised global body e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Full member of the ZAMBIA Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with a history of responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination
- Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills
- Post-graduate qualification in any related business field would be an added advantage
- Strong communications, influencing and engagement skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people of varied backgrounds
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple and time-sensitive deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to utilise new software applications effectively
- Proficient in setup of Quickbooks
