The Company

Agora Microfinance Zambia Limited (AMZ) is a licensed microfinance lending company that currently operates in the Western, Southern, Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, North-Western, Copperbelt, Lusaka, and Central provinces of the country. The mission of AMZ is to ‘Contribute to the economic well-being of the poor through effective provision of appropriate financial services.’

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum of a diploma in Public Relations, marketing or related field
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to communicate and interact with clients in a compassionate and competent way in English, as well as Lozi, Tonga, Nyanja, and Bemba, will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to accurately summarize complaints
  • Good listening skills with attention to detail
  • Computer literacy

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Log all incoming communication from clients.
  2. Respond to incoming client communication by calling them back.
  3. Ascertain and log the reason the client is in touch.
  4. Use the company’s Management Information System to investigate each client’s inquiry.
  5. Determine the discrepancy’s origin and report the task to the correct person in a timely manner.
  6. Log the outcome of the investigation.
  7. Communicate the outcome with the client.
