VACANCY:  Digital Brand Executive

LEVEL:  Senior Officer

LOCATION:  Lusaka

JOB PURPOSE

Drive Airtel’s Website and social media growth and content presence through innovative initiatives and stimulate the appeal to the customer. Develops innovative interactive web-based tools that compliment and contribute to the airtel communications media pool.

REPORTING TO THE BRAND AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER, THE MAIN REPSONSIBILITIS ARE;

1. Promotions and Brand building

  • Brand custodian
  • Ensure effective and timely execution of all campaigns development and roll out
  • Support relevant marketing activities to support the development of the brand across the country
  • Ensure Brand compliance under guidance of the Head of Brand and Marketing communications and Head of Department

2. Marketing Management

  • Agency Management Relations
  • Weekly Competition reports
  • Market trend analysis reports
  • Drive Website marketing ensuring delivery of SOV and clicks according to the approved business, Marketing plan, and budget.
  • Plan tactical activities across all segments to drive traffic to Airtel Website
  • Monitor evolution of customer segment needs, market, and industry
  • Create web based solutions to usage of Airtel product and service offering
  • Implement website enhancements such as new functionalities and updates
  • Daily track the number of hits and run programs to grow the website traffic
  • Maintain current information on the website and ensure all items posted follow Airtel group and OPCO specific guidelines

3. Communication

  • All marketing communications carrying the brand logo to be in line with brand guidelines and brand communication   standards
  • Support all other functions driving brand values and ensuring custodianship of brand standard conformance in line   with Website communications and Brand Assets

4. Project Management

  • Ensure all projects are carried out within approved budget, set timelines and according to agreed calendar
  • Works on special projects and assignments as requested by the Brand and Communications Manager or Marketing   Director

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a degree in Commercial discipline or Computer Science
  • Project Management, Post Graduate diploma in CIM certifications will be an added advantage
  • Excel and PowerPoint Competency
  • At least 2 years working experience in the brand management space
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels (added advantage)
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
