Job Description
The key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Delivers the algorithm and segmentation for offer targeting;
- Creates reports/dashboards/scorecards for internal Business Intelligence team & external customers;
- Manages the recommendation engine based on reinforcement analytics;
- Provides insights, research & analytics that guide, influence, and challenge decision-making at all levels in the business;
- Gather, organize and communicate customer/business intelligence & insights to the entire Commercial space as well as other functions of the business including technology;
- Implements end to end process & governance to provide adequate, accurate & secure information for end-users (internal clients);
- Uses statistics & software to analyze data and run the Customer Value Management (CVM) and Customer Lifetime Management (CLM) operations, to drive customer needs, increase productivity and optimize MTN revenue;
- Supports in providing Market and Economic insight to the business to aid future decisions;
- Delivers accurate, insightful, and timely analysis to guide Executive Management decisions, e.g., – in the areas of marketing campaigns, business models, churn management, and revenue enhancement initiatives;
- Geo-Marketing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Management; – micro-market prioritization and network resource management support;
- End-to-end Customer Lifecycle/Value Management; Analytics, Operations & Communications, Technical, and Organisation;
- Impalements the CVM Playbook to ensure Zambia is compliant with Group guidelines.Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with 5 credits or better of which English and Mathematics are a must;
- Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, Engineering, or any related field;
- 2 years working experience in data analysis, programming, reporting, or general business experience, including formal business/market analysis and data manipulation/ mining experience;
- Experience in marketing analytics for telecommunications is desirable;
- Business analysis experience an added advantage;
- Training in Customer Value Management, Power BI, SQL, Unix, Python
