Assistant Front Office Manager

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Diploma in Hotel Management
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience in a similar /related position
  • Front office experience is essential

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the smooth running of shifts and Front Office procedures to Maximize guest satisfaction and efficiency of staff
  • Ensuring efficient guest arrival and departure in keeping with Hotel standards and policies
  • Supervising the setting up and control of all group arrivals and accounting requirements
  • Ensuring and monitoring that revenue controls and processes are adhered to
  • Liaise and work in harmony with all departments
  • Conduct ongoing training/coaching for junior staff members
  • Provide regular feedbacks to the Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager
  • Any other duties assigned

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Computer Skills (Excel, Word and Opera)
  • A good sales person with pleasant telephone manners and ability to work under pressure
  • Well-spoken and pleasant outgoing personality
