BBC Media Action is the international development charity of the BBC. We are currently looking to recruit for the following position:

Store Merchandiser

Duties

  • Creates highly successful visual presentation that coerce the prospective customer to stop, look and buy
  • Creates window and or interior merchandise displays throughout the store
  • Creates winning showcases for new ideas, concepts and products
  • Coordinate marketing, merchandising and retailing in communicating with the targeted customer
  • Presents design concepts and store layouts; in charge of developing the retail image
  • Supervises all wall and counter displays

Should also be able to manage stock lines to prioritize replenishment levels and organise special reductions to clear stock.

Experience

At least two years of experience in retail merchandising, window display, store display and stock management

  • Able to supervise a team, flexible and goal oriented
