BBC Media Action Job Vacancy in Zambia: Coordinating Mentor [Lusaka, Zambia]


BBC Media Action is the international development charity of the BBC.  We are currently looking to recruit for multiple positions for two projects. Please note that all positions will involve extensive travel within Zambia.

Subject to confirmation of funding. Under the British Council funded Zambia Accountability Project, we are looking to recruit the following positions based in Lusaka:

COORDINATING MENTOR: A minimum of 4 years of professional experience working as a senior radio producer or news reporter. Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Production or related field. Excellent editorial and technical skills with solid experience of conceptualizing programmes, packaging, editing and production. Strong background in news and/or current affairs programming. Experience as a trainer or mentor essential. Experience managing projects and staff is an asset. A valid driving license strongly preferred.
