POSITION:PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE BURSAR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedules and co-ordinate the Bursar’s appointments and meetings (Diary Management);
Review and screen all official correspondences, telephone calls and draft responses accordingly;
Organise the Bursar’s files in hard and soft copies;
Protecting the Bursar from unwelcome visitors (effective public relations);
Attending to queries from staff members;
Budgeting (petty cash);
Exhibit high levels of confidentiality;
Any other duties as assigned by the Bursar.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent from a reputable institution and 5 “O” Levels including English Language. The candidate should have at least seven (7) years post relevant qualification experience. The incumbent should have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be highly competent in Information Technology, mature, hardworking, reliable and well groomed.
