1.1 Biological Sciences Department
1.1.1 Job Title:Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/Professor
Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum qualification of Masters Degree in Zoology/Vertebrate Biology/ or related field, A PhD and University teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to teach Zoology courses at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants will also be expected to carry out research in areas of their specialization.
1.2 Geography Department
Job Title:Lecturer/Senior Lecturer / Associate Professor / Professor
Qualifications
Applicants must have a BA/BSc Degree in Earth Sciences, Meteorology and any relevant aspect of Physical Geography, MA/MSc in any relevant aspects of Physical Geography. A PhD and Experience in teaching at tertiary level and GIS and Remote Sensing knowledge are added advantages.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate should be able to conduct Physical Geography practical exercises. He or she will be also expected to carry out research in areas of his/her specialization.
2. Faculty of Agriculture And Environmental Science
2.1 Agricultural Economics, Education And Extension Department
2.1.1 Job Title:Lecturer /Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/ Professor (1 Post)
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics, Master of Science hours Degree in Agricultural Economics and a PhD in Agricultural Economics or Agribusiness Management. A Post Graduate Diploma in Tertiary Education is an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate is expected to teach Econometrics and any two of the following courses: Natural Resource Economics, Farm Management and Agricultural Production Economics.
3. Faculty of commerce
3.1 Human Resources Management Department
3.1.1 Job Title:Professor/Associate Professor
Qualifications
Applicants must be PhD holder in Human Resources Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate must be able to teach at least two of the following courses at undergraduate level: Human Resources Management, Compensation, Strategic Management, Human Capital Planning and Recruitment and Selection
3.1.2 Job Title: Full Time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor
Qualifications
Applicants must be holders of a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or its equivalent. The candidates must have lecturing/tutoring experience at tertiary institutional level.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate must be able to teach at least two of the following courses at undergraduate level: Human Resources Management, Compensation, Strategic Management, Human Capital Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Management, Labour Law and Change Management.
3.1.3 Job Title:Teaching Assistant
Qualification
Applicants must be holders of a Bachelors (Honours) Degree in Human Resources Management or its equivalent with at least a 2.1 classification.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate must be able to teach at least two of the following courses: Quantitative Analysis for Business, Management, Industrial Relations, Human Resources Management, Introduction to Sociology and Change Management.
