BRANCH MANAGER (MT2) – LUSAKA SQUARE

This role reports directly to the Manager: Retail Sales & Service. The ideal candidate is responsible for the overall performance and routine running of the Branch as set out in the Performance Contract.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Exhibiting sound knowledge of the Bank’s product & service bouquet, credit principles and sales & administration processes.
  • Cultivating and maintaining a customer focus on ensuring that all customers are handled in a professional manner and that all information provided s accurate.
  • Strengthening the sales focus by proactively marketing and cross-selling the Bank’s products to new /existing customers to meet Business objectives.
  • Ensuring effective administrative management of the frontline service & back office support areas and collateral & credit facilities (in compliance with the Bank’s credit policy & procedures) while containing credit risk as per the Performance Contract.
  • Upholding the Bank’s brand and “code of conduct- by demonstrating: professionalism, commitment and reliability.
  • Willingness to perform any other reasonable and lawful duties as necessary.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • A minimum of S years’ general banking experience-.
  • Sound knowledge of business and admin6.tratcon procedures.
  • Excellent budgeting, interpersonal relationship management, organizing, planning, problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate financial information, work well under pressure and deliver results while exceeding customer Expectations
  • Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Office).

QUALIFICATION

  • Five 0′ Levels with credits (or better) in English and Mathematics.

 

•        Degree or diploma in Banking/Business or Commerce-related field
