We are therefore inviting applications to fill the following vacant positions:

BREWERY MANAGER – LUSAKA xl

Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the chosen candidates will mainly be responsible for the following:

  • To manage and coordinate the Brewing Department (People, Plant, Process and Systems) in order to achieve the required standard Of product quality and output in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Plan resources requirements and implementation Of strategic objectives
  • Manage productivity of the plant
  • Translate and implement Brewing, Manufacturing and business strategies
  • Manage occupational health, safety and risk
  • Organize and interpret data and operational information
  • Compile and Manage Budgets
  • Authorize weekly / annual production plans
  • Coordinate CAPIN / CAPEX justification for Brewing and trucks
  • Monitoring the sales and distribution processes
  • Prepares sales forecasts and draws up distribution plans. Monitors and reviews the forecast and plans daily, weekly and monthly
  • Appraises routes and sales performance with the view of achieving optimum vehicle utilisation (including fuel) and maximum sales
  • To maintain an environment within Sales and Distribution that fosters equal and fair employment practices
  • To communicate effectively with subordinates

 

This job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate with Six (6) Credits.
  • BSc, Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical) or Commercial degree
  • Three years’ experience in Brewing or related field at senior line management
  • Good understanding of the principles and practices of Manufacturing Excellence
  • Ability to work odd hours under minimum supervision
  • Committed to quality, sober character and attentive to detail.
  • Physical fitness and hardworking
  • A team player with the ability to work shifts.
  • Computer literate added advantage
