Lead criteria setting, assessment and development of Distributor network according to defined standards

A day in the life of…

Build Capacity: Manage & strengthen the business partnership with Distributors. Ensure Distributors’ operations are efficient and effective i.e., warehouse & inventory management, logistics, salesforce, etc. Ensure the continuous development, effectiveness, and sustainability of distributor operations in  achieving route-to-market strategies in the Trade Channels

Support the design, implementation & follow up of Master Coverage Plan, territory development & manpower deployment ratios for the assigned Distributor (s)
Build Capability: By implementing Nestle Continuous Excellence through visual management, measurements, goal alignment, problem-solving and multi-level reviews of plans i.e. DOR, WOR, MOR, QOR

Liaise with internal (Trade Marketing, Supply Chain) and external (Customer, 3rd party) stakeholders to ensure timely execution of agreed Customer/Channel/Shopper related activities

Monitor compliance with applicable Nestlé principles and policies including (but not limited to) NMLP, TS, Nestlé regional Trade Policy,  Trade Terms, IC3, Safety, and local regulations

Implement distribution development drives (RTM), automation, visibility programs, assess forward stock shares and grade outlets

Ensure training plans and the commitment, development, retention, and coaching of direct reports and 3rd party talent

What will make you successful

  • Honors degree from a recognized university, preferably in the areas of Sales/ Marketing/ Business Administration.
  • 3- 5 years in marketing or sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the distribution support team
  • Capacity to understand all distribution and sales functions i.e. CCSD, Customer, Field
  • Good experience in managing Distributors
