Position: Sales Agents

Locations

Chingola, Chinsali, Chipata, Choma, Kabwe, Kasama, Kitwe, Livingstone, Lusaka, Mansa, Mazabuka, Mongu, Mpika, Mufulira, Ndola and Solwezi.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Branch Team leader. The sales agent is responsible for the day-to-day selling of policies. He or she will effectively procure, maintain, deliver and preserve Sanlam life clients/products.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • To sell various types of life insurance to individuals on behalf of Sanlam Life Insurance Zambia
  • Client and policy servicing of both existing & prospective policy holders
  • Call on policy holders to deliver, to explain the policies & analyze insurance
  • To seek out new clients & to generate prospective list
  • Administrative tasks – to keep & maintain records of clients & prospects
  • To monitor insurance claims & ensure that complete documentation is submitted timely & the clients paid within the promised time

Minimum qualifications and experience

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Certificate/Diploma qualification in Marketing/Insurance/Sales is an added advantage.
  • 1 year work experience in sales responsibility
  • Working experience as a Sales Representative is an added advantage
  • Sales, marketing, computer literate, insurance product knowledge.
  • Attention to detail to complete an application form.
