Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
State briefly the principle purpose of the position, it’s major objectives and impacts the position has on Citibank.
Assists trade and funds transfer Head in the following roles:
• Liaise between product managers, RMs Marketing, and credit departments etc
• Ensure smooth flow of processing in the Trade Operations and Funds transfer department
• Escalate complex issues to unit head and SBOO/SCOO for resolution
• Distributor Finance/Term Loans/Syndicated loans and trade processing and maintenance of transaction files (Regular)
• Warehouse finance loans (Backup)
• Processing Internal transfers, Telegraphic transfers (outward and inward) and Inflows
• Also responsible for taking Backup tapes to Stanbic (Off-site).

1. POSITION OBJECTIVE
• Responsible for processing of cash/check items over the counter,
• Provision of high-quality customer service
2. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Paying and receiving local currency,
• Receiving, and processing, within the established controls and standards of the country
• Paying and receiving foreign monies cash,
• Processing foreign checks,
• Maintaining suspense and foreign monies accounts as per Citi control guidelines
• Verification of signatures of instruments presented by our customers,
• Reporting on daily basis receipts of foreign currency,
• Counting cash for subject to count clients
• Booking of accounts receivables, sundry account items and ensuring prompt liquidation
• Responsible for the awareness and control of risk within the specific job function
• Meet customers specified requirements within the pre-established standards of quality
• Responsible for corrective and preventive action for the job function
• Good KYC in order to mitigate fraud risk
• Any other duties as maybe assigned by the supervisor
• Performing proofs for the department
• Preparing report for CIT returns
• Preparing tickets for G4S/Armaguard upload
• Making reconciliations of the aforementioned entities accounts
