Challenges Group Zambia is looking to hire the services of vibrant and innovative individuals for the positions of Finance-Planning Officer and Project Manager. The successful applicants will be seconded to First Aid Africa a partner of Challenges Group to facilitate its market entry and accelerate its set-up in Zambia. First Aid Africa Zambia Ltd provides professional first aid training to organisations and communities across the African continent.

The Finance and Planning Officer Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, Planning and expanding the business model
  • Testing, extracting and expansion of data
  • Developing financial and management reports
  • Performing financial analysis
  • Leading projects and teams
  • Recommending fiscal changes and measures
  • Drafting reviewing and analysing budgets
  • Defining financial situation by completing quantitative analyses
  • Evaluating operational plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns
  • Valuing assets by appraising current conditions; assessing potential
  • Recommends debt structures by analysing refinancing options
  • Building financial database by identifying sources of information; assembling, verifying, and backing up data
  • Recommends financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing, and explaining information.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Finance, Economics, Accounting, ACCA/CIMA qualifications or Business Administration. Other Business related degrees may be acceptable, but managers need to have a high aptitude for dealing with numeric and financial data, financial modelling as well as statistics. Minimum 3 years work experience.

Contract Type: Full Time (Renewable annually based on performance)
