Chemonics seeks professional support staff members for an anticipated USAID integrated nutrition, agriculture, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) project in Zambia. Jointly managed by the Economic Development, Health, and Education Offices, the project will assist the Zambian government to reduce stunting in the eastern and central provinces. It aims to increase access to water and sanitation, improve the productivity and capacity of high-value, nutrient-rich value chains, and increase household knowledge and support for new eating and child feeding habits through multilevel and multisector engagement. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people in their communities and around the world.

Job Title: Professional Support Staff Members
Professional support staff with experience in the following areas:
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Finance and operations
- Gender specialists
- Communications
- Social behavior change communication, focused on agriculture, nutrition, and/or WASH
- Organizational capacity building
Qualifications
Monitoring and evaluation specialist
- Master’s degree or other higher degree in a relevant subject matter area
- Minimum six years of progressively more responsible international work experience
- Experience in designing both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies and tools, including
Household-level surveys
- Demonstrated experience in carrying out USAID monitoring and evaluation activities such as assisting partners to develop performance management plans and reporting indicators, and planning and leading evaluations for large, complex projects
- Knowledge of data analysis software (e.g., SAS and SPSS) required
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Experience in Zambia required
- Proficiency in English required
