Qualifications and skills:

  •  Post-graduate Qualification in Aviation or equivalent professional experience (5 years).
  •  Fluency in both written and spoken English.

General professional experience:

  •  Minimum 10 years of professional experience in management and staff development in the aviation sector. Required to work 20 man-days split up into:
  •  2 man-days for inception/preparatory work;
  •  15 man-days for in-country assignment mission (including time required for data collection and consultations with    key stakeholders, carrying out training needs analysis, and development of a comprehensive staff training and  capacity building plan).
  •  3 man-days for participating in the finalisation of the Capacity Building Report, in home country.

Specific professional experience:

  •  Proven experience in carrying out training needs assessments, development and delivering capacity building  programmes, in the aviation sector.
  •  Specific and relevant experience of working in developing countries, preferably in Africa will be an advantage.
