ZSIC Life Limited is one of Zambia’s leading provider of life assurance products and
services. It is wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia through
the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).

ZSIC Life under the project it is carrying out seeks to employ the following:-

CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION OFFICER X 3

REPORTS TO: MANAGER-HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMS

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE.

The main role of the jobholder is to:-

  • Ensure that all the valid claims are processed, approved and settled on time;
  • Ensures update of the respective claims registers;
  • Approves all eligible claims according to the insurer’s medical insurance policy guidelines;
  • Files all approved claims in an orderly and traceable manner should a call be made on a specific claim;
  • Prepares payment requisitions for verification by claims manager;
  • Ensures that health care -providers understand ZSIC Medical insurance claims submission guidelines;
  • Works hand in hand with the provider relationship team to manage provider queries and;
  • Prepares and submits monthly claims reports

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Degree in Insurance, a professional insurance qualification, or any business qualification.
  • Applied experience in Health Insurance claims administration of not less than three years.
  • Good IT skills and competent user of Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office suite
