CMED (Private) Limited is a wholly state owned enterprise established in terms of the commercialisation Act of 2000. Which outlies its core functions as the provision  of the following services to both the public and private sector market:

1. Transport and equipment hire services.
2. Procurement of vehicles.
3. Fuel supply.
4. Training and testing of drivers, and
5. Administration of the Transport Purchase Fund on behalf of the Public Service Commission and Treasury.

Our core mandate is therefore to provide and operate transport, plant and equipment hire services. At the same time CMED is able to perform any other functions set out in the Memorandum of Association whilst prioritising government to the extent that it is compatible with sound business practice

Position: Human Resource and Administration Manager
Grade: Level 3
CMED (PVT) LTD requires the services of dedicated and self driven individual to fill the above position to be based at Head Office.
Reporting to the Human Resource & Administration Executive, the successful incumbent will be working in collaboration with staff across provinces/ Strategic Business Units, and will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective human resource and administrative services to CMED at Head Office and in regional offices around the country.
Key accountabilities will include:
  • Policies and Procedures Development, Implementation and Advisory Services
  • Recruitment, Selection and Retention
  • Talent and Performance Management
  • Reward Management
  • Staff Training and Development
  • Employee and Industrial Relations
  • Employee Benefits, Health, Safety and Welfare
  • Assist the Human Resource & Administration Executive on Human Resources Risk Management and reporting issues
  • General Administration

 Requirements

Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications and experience: –
  • Degree in Human Resources Management or Social Sciences
  • Professional qualification in human resource management or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Membership of a professional institution
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
