Working in Zambia since 1996, Plan International Zambia’s development and capacity building programmes focus primarily on Education, Health, Water and Sanitation, Economic Security and Youth Empowerment, including Child Protection and Participation. Plan International Zambia has Programme Areas in; Central, Luapula, and Eastern Provinces including in Lusaka, where the Country Office is located.

Nutrition project. The program aims to reach men, adolescents, women of reproductive age, and PLHIV with high-quality private sector health services. To achieve this goal, the program aims to achieve the following objectives:

Objective 1:  Stimulate demand for health products and services and increase the adoption of healthy behaviors

Objective 2:  Sustainably expand availability and accessibility of high-quality health services in the private sector

Objective 3:  Sustainably expand availability and accessibility of priority health products Objective 4:  Strengthen the enabling environment for private sector health actors

Plan International Zambia is looking for experienced, innovative, motivated, self-starter individuals to fill the following position:

Community Engagement Specialist (Eastern, Luapula, Muchinga & Southern Province)

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Arts required, Master of Arts preferred
  • at least three years of experience working directly with community-based organizations, government counterparts, and other community actors to increase engagement on health programming
  • fluency in English required

Experience working on US Grant projects is strongly preferred
