Save the Children International – Zambia
The world’s leading independent organization
Mission & Vision
Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children. Our Vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development, and participation. Zambia Country Strategy 2019 to 2021 is based on our Child Rights Situation Analysis (CRSA) findings and our organizational strengths. Save the Children will focus our efforts on three groups of the most deprived children: 1) children in rural areas, 2) refugee and migrant children and 3) the girl child from conception until adolescence. We invest in the technical expertise we need at the country level to design and deliver high-quality programming in these areas. We focus on four areas of programming where we will build thematic leadership: 1) Inclusive Early Childhood Care Development and Education (ECCDE), 2) Protecting the most vulnerable groups of boys and girls against violence, including refugees, migrants and Children Without Appropriate Care (CWAC); 3) Child Sensitive Social Protection (CSSP); 4) Meaningful child participation, safeguarding, and effective child rights advocacy.
