Consultants Wanted at Zambia Health Education and Communication Trust (ZHECT) – Ends 8 August 2017


Zambia Health Education and Communications Trust (ZHECT) is a non-governmental not for profit organization registered under the laws of Zambia in October 2001 with the Registrar of Societies and commenced operations in April 2002. It operates an integrated portfolio of programs that includes initiatives to promote efficient delivery of health services and programs, promote healthy behaviours and increase the supply and diversity of health products and services. For 17 years, ZHECT has implemented programs to address critical public health issues in Zambia, including HIV prevention, sexual reproductive health, and social behaviour change communications.

Responsibilities

The Consultant(s) shall perform the following tasks:

  • Facilitate a strategic planning workshop to include ZHECT senior management and other staff
  • Review the suggested and old visions and missions based on ZHECT mandate
  • Undertake stakeholder mapping and analysis
  • Undertake a situation analysis of ZHECT operations to date
  • Through a consultative process and application of an appropriate tool of analysis, identify focus areas and develop strategic objectives (starting with the suggested ones) and key result areas for the same
  • Through a consultative process and application of an appropriate tool of analysis, identify focus areas and help develop a sustainability plan as a subset of the strategic plan
  • Propose a strategy for achieving the strategic objectives and key results
  • Develop a Results and Resources Framework for the plan period
  • Hold stakeholder meeting(s) to validate the draft Strategic Plan
  • Finalize a strategic plan and submit to ZHECT

Qualifications

  • TPIN certificate
  • ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
  • Company profile, if individual CVs of all participating consultants
  • Current Address/Physical Location
  • Other relevant professional registrations
  • Technical
  • Technical capacity to provide such services (expertise of company officers)
  • Technical specifications of services or approach to be used to deliver product including implementation work plan for executing the task required
  • Proof of 3 past orders/or contracts
  • Commercial
  • Quotation provided (VAT inclusive or exclusive)
  • Bid validity period
  • Indicate Delivery period
  • Indicate at least 3 Bank statement for past 3 months
  • Indicate payment terms
